Derek Rosenzweig

I'm the founder of Runtime Labs, an independent research and product company building novel interfaces that unify search, scheduling, and event discovery through natural language. I develop tools for anchoring language models in time.

My background is in neuroscience research. This work led me to recognize time as a bridge between language and world models — a core primitive that compiles high-level intentions expressed in natural language into actions in the physical world.

I began researching how to integrate timestamps and event data into reasoning models, which led me to develop prototypes for scheduling applications. This work evolved into founding Runtime Labs to build novel interaction paradigms for scheduling and coordinating activities with language models.
